Belonging Together
We are a community in which everyone belongs to each other and to God as we choose to live together into the reality of God’s Beloved Community “on earth as it is in heaven.” Every person who desires to belong here does—all races, sexualities, genders, nationalities, and religious beliefs—because God desires every single person. We’re all made in God’s image.
Online
Our weekly gatherings are online (Zoom). This means we gather in real time with people from around the world, enabling us to learn from a wide array of perspectives.
Theologically expansive
We embrace all people and peoples, not merely accepting but celebrating all races, sexualities, gender identities, and religious beliefs.
Dialogical and vulnerable
Can you imagine church with no sermon? In our conversational mode of learning, it is the wisdom of our entire community that engages in sacred stories and helps us explore what it means to follow the way of Jesus.
Healing and reimagining
Our approach is trauma-informed, as many of us carry deep wounds from religious institutions and people. We care for each other as we reimagine liberative faith and community for a group of misfits like us.
